About Michael

Michael Murphy is a photographer based Knoxville, TN. Through the lens, he demonstrates a passion for capturing captivating moments in the streets and nature alike. His preferred tools of the trade often include the reliable Sony a7C II camera and at times, his trusty iPhone to document his creative visions.

Outside of photography, Michael is a student at the University of Tennessee, where he is currently working towards a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration on epidemiology. Having recently completed his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Tennessee in 2024, where he also minored in Public Health and Biology, Michael's academic pursuits demonstrate his commitment to making a positive impact in the field of public health. In his leisure time, he finds solace in activities such as running and hiking.
